Q. Do I need a referral from my primary care physician when accessing the alternative health care therapy program offered through Natural Options?
A. No, this program is very simple. Members do not need a referral. Choose a participating provider from the Natural Options directory and call the provider's office to make an appointment.

Q. What is the discount amount for professional services?
A. Members qualify for a 20% discount off the participating provider's posted fees for the following professional services: Mmassage therapy and nutritional counseling and chiropractic services (Care Choices HMO members only). Members pay the provider directly at the time of each service. Care Choices is not responsible for payment.

Q. How do I let the provider know that I qualify for discounted services?
A. It's simple. Show your Care Choices member ID card to the participating provider and let him or her know that you qualify for the 20% discount on professional services. All participating providers listed in the Natural Options directory have been notified of the discount and will honor it for members who show their Care Choices member ID card.

Q. Why don't Care Choices PPO members get a discount on chiropractic services through the Natural Options programs?
A. Chiropractors are part of the provider network available to PPO members. See the provider directory to search for these providers.
