Event Teaches Women to Take Time Without Feeling Guilt

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., March 30, 2004 - Saint Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital, Care Choices and Preferred Choices will present Women’s Night Out on Wednesday, April 21 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. “Take Time for You – Guilt Free” will be held at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center (formerly Lake Pointe Manor), 5768 East Grand River in Howell.

Chris Silkwood, an accomplished trainer, speaker and author, says the day-to-day responsibilities such as job, family and other commitments leave women feeling run down. She believes attending to our own needs is not selfish but necessary for well-being. During the presentation, Silkwood will teach women simple ways to take time for themselves. In addition to Silkwood’s presentation, participants can visit a variety of vendor booths for massages, clothing, jewelry and accents, eyebrow waxing and more.

The cost of Women’s Night Out is $30 per person. Registration is required by Friday, April 16. To register, please call 800-231-2211.

The event is made possible by Saint Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital, Care Choices and Preferred Choices.
