Care Choices Announces New Sales and Account Manager

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., May 17, 2005 – Care Choices today announced the promotion of Raymond J. Houthuysen, CHC, to Manager, Sales and Account Management for Southeast Michigan. He will provide leadership for sales and account management for both Care Choices HMO and Preferred Choices PPO.

“Ray brings the skills and expertise to round out our team,” said Jelka Petrovic, CHC, HIAA, CMCP, Chief Marketing Officer of Care Choices. “His extensive background in the insurance industry will certainly be an asset to our organization.”

Prior to joining Care Choices two years ago as a Senior Account Executive, Houthuysen held positions in sales and account management with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Equicor, Benetech and Arthur J. Gallagher. Houthuysen brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing self-funded PPO products along with extensive work with unionized employers and governmental agencies.
